The main purpose of the Quality Assurance Form is to verify the integrity of the assessment evidence by confirming authenticity and how the evidence is controlled. It records that the learner’s work is genuinely theirs, that steps have been taken to secure, store, and handle the evidence properly, and that there is a traceable record (signatures, dates, checks) showing the assessment process was carried out correctly. This helps prevent impersonation or leakage and provides a clear audit trail for quality assurance.

This form isn’t about judging whether the work meets the marking standards, nor about setting assessment tasks, nor about national standards themselves. Its role is to protect the credibility of the evidence through authenticity checks and proper control.
